Estrema Family Prayer Letter

Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Dear Praying Friends,
Thank you so much for your much needed prayers this month. God is truly a shield to those who trust in Him. We are humbled at the thought of God’s unchanging faithfulness.
We are thankful for the many blessings of the Lord that we were able to experience this month. The church in Villa de Mayo had their inauguration service in the new building with an attendance of over 300 people! This included those from the surrounding churches and those in the town. Many in the town were waiting for a good fundamental church to be planted there. Yesterday, they had a great attendance of 69 people! Please pray for Pastor Jorge as he works a full-time job and pastors full-time as well. It is such a blessing to see a daughter church take its first steps alone.
Praise the Lord that there were four new believers at the New Believers class. Please continue to pray for Francisco. He made a profession of faith about two months ago and was really faithful in the beginning. However, he quickly cooled off. He bears the burden of a life of drugs and has many obstacles to overcome. Continue to pray for him to live out the victory that he has in Jesus Christ.
Gaston, who made a profession of faith three weeks ago, has been faithful to church. It is great to see him trying to get involved in the youth group and Sunday services. He is beginning a discipleship study with another youth in the church. Ruben has been showing great signs of hunger for the Word of God. Pray for his family as they are his biggest obstacle right now.
On May 5th, we will be having an evangelistic Bible study in the home of the Rivas. They have always had a great turnout to these types of studies. Please pray for God to both prepare and convict the hearts of those who come. Most will be unsaved!
